Students Promoting Positive Actions (SPPA) was initiated by a group of
students in 2005 for the purpose of promoting healthy alternatives to drugs
and alcohol. This small but active group has coordinated events such as the
Mock Car Crash, MHS Ghost-Out, and the "What's Your Anti-Drug" campaign at
the middle school. Participating students have been invited to speak on the
issue of teen drug and alcohol use at parent panels, Tonka CARES task force
meetings and for the Minnetonka School Board. For more information, contact
